Again, today, skies will be mostly sunny with some mid to high level cloudiness.

There is a very slight possibility of scattered showers later this morning or early this afternoon. ( See Fig 3) Winds will be SE to E at 15 mph to 30 mph.

The winds will be diurnal, meaning that they will decrease in strength and change direction as the sun rises. Then about 2:30 pm in the afternoon, they will begin to strengthen and shift to the E or NE from SE. The winds and seas also increase and decrease around the time the moon rises (tonight at 10:30pm) and sets (today at 9:37am). The seas will be 2 to 4 feet in height and higher. Expect these wind and sea conditions for the next 5 to 7 days. Note the low pressure area over South Central Mexico (left hand side of Fig 3). When this low is in place, the trade winds increase in strength in the Bay Islands and on the North Coast of Honduras.

A weak cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico today. It is still expected to move back inland, turn stationary and dissipate tomorrow. The next weak cold front is forecast to enter the Gulf of Mexico on Friday. It is currently forecast to dissipate in the middle Gulf of Mexico, on Saturday.
The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
