Skies will be  mostly sunny. Winds will be moderate to strong and easterly in direction at 15 mph to 40 mph. Seas will be  moderate to rough at 1 ft. to 4 ft or higher. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.  The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A strong cold front moving off the Texas coast this morning will sweep SE of the Gulf through late Thu...followed by strong northerly winds reaching near gale force off Veracruz, Mexico tonight into Thu. Winds and seas subside Fri into Sat as high pressure builds across the region. Southerly return flow will increase over the NW Gulf Sun ahead of low pressure moving through the southern plains.
3. Caribbean Sea - High pressure SE of Bermuda will maintain moderate to fresh trades across the Caribbean...except for strong winds across south-central portions and near gale force at night along the coast of Colombia and NW Venezuela. Northerly swell is expected to propagate through the waters NE and E of the Lesser Antilles overnight through Thu night. A cold front will move across the NW Caribbean Thu night into Fri...then dissipate from the Windward Passage to the Gulf of Honduras Sat.
3a. 15-30 kt trade winds are over the Caribbean Sea with the weakest winds over the Leeward Islands, and the strongest winds along the coast of Colombia. Scattered showers are over N Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Mostly fair weather is over the Caribbean Sea. In the upper levels, an upper level high is centered over the SW Caribbean near 13N81W with strong subsidence over the entire Caribbean. Expect scattered showers to advect over Hispaniola and Cuba over the next 24 hours. Also expect more convection to be over the SW Caribbean.
