Skies will be cloudy. Winds will be moderate and easterly in direction at 5 mph to 20 mph. There is a chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms today. Seas will be moderate at 1 ft. to 4 ft. The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - 1021 mb high is centered over the NW Gulf near 28N92.5W and will shift NE through Sun. SE return flow will become fresh in the W Gulf this afternoon through Sun ahead of developing low pressure in the central plains. Fresh E winds will spread to the SE Gulf Mon through Wed...increasing to locally strong off the NW coast of Cuba and northern Yucatan Peninsula Mon night. Fresh to strong nocturnal E winds will develop in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico Sun through Wed.
3. Caribbean Sea - A weak cold front moving slowly SE across the NW Caribbean will stall from far E Cuba to near 18N83W Sun. Fresh to strong winds across the south-central Caribbean will diminish Sunday while gentle to moderate winds will prevail elsewhere. Fresh NE winds will pulse to strong in lee of Cuba at night Sun through Tue as the pressure gradient tightens between building high pressure N of area and stalled frontal boundary across SE Bahamas.
3a. A middle level to upper level trough passes across SE Cuba to 14N78W. Middle level-to-upper level NW wind flow is to the west of the trough. Upper level SW wind flow covers the area that is to the east of the trough. The wind flow from 350 mb to 800 mb is from the E from 70W eastward. Rain showers are possible, in scattered to broken low level clouds, from 13N northward from 72W eastward, and between 72W and 85W. 24-hour rainfall totals that are listed for the period that ended at 08/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...0.08 in Guadeloupe.
