Skies will be mostly sunny and clear today. Winds will be easterly in direction at 5 mph to 30 mph. Seas will be calm to moderate at 1 ft. to 4 ft. The air temperatures will range from the mid 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - Southerly winds will increase over the western Gulf today ahead of a broad surface trough moving into the NW Gulf Mon evening. The trough will move into the central Gulf through Wed then dissipate Thu.
3. Caribbean Sea - High pressure N of the area will support fresh to strong winds off Colombia and in the Gulf of Honduras mainly at night through early next week...pulsing to near gale force off Colombia. Gentle to moderate winds persist elsewhere through mid week.
3a. Broad middle level-to-upper level anticyclonic wind flow spans the entire Caribbean Sea. High level clouds are moving through the NW corner from 14N northward from Jamaica westward, and across the Greater Antilles. Comparatively drier air in subsidence is apparent in water vapor imagery elsewhere across the area. Rain showers are possible elsewhere across the Caribbean Sea, from 19N southward between 80W and 84W, from 14N northward between 70W and 80W, and from 70W eastward, in areas of broken low level clouds. The 24-hour rainfall amounts, for the period ending at 19/0000 UTC... according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are: 0.02 in Guadeloupe.
