How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

Today, skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be light, variable and SSE to ENE in direction at 10 mph or less. There is a slight chance of scattered showers. Seas will be moderate at 1 to 3 feet.
This morning, satellite imagery shows that there are still remnants of the stationary, broad frontal trough over us. It will continue to slowly dissipate. This trough reaches from the Bay Islands across the eastern end of Cuba out into the Atlantic Ocean.
The next cold front is now moving off the Texas coast. A weak cold front will move into the NW Gulf of Mexico Saturday night. It will be reinforced by a strong cold front on Sunday night.
Expect cool, cloudy weather and intermittent rain with the passage of these fronts. There will be brief periods of sunny skies between fronts.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
With wind chill, it will feel like the mid 60s F, especially when exiting the water.
Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 80°F or 25ºC to 26ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
