Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be mostly easterly in direction at 10 mph or less. Seas will be moderate at 1 to 3 feet.
This morning, a cold front extends from Tampa Bay, Florida to the western Bay of Campeche, Mexico. It has gale force winds behind it. It will continue to move slowly south across the Gulf of Mexico and weaken. This cold front is now forecast to dissipate in the southern Gulf of Mexico by late Thursday. It is possible that the front will drift farther south then is predicted before dissipating completely.
The next cold front approaches the Texas coast late Sunday. Marine interests in the Bay Island should monitor the progress of this front. (see Figs. 3a & 6).
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft or less.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.

Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph to 20 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
Winds and seas will decrease in strength beginning tomorrow. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats.
This morning, a cold front extends from northern Florida to northern Mexico. It will continue to move slowly south across the Gulf of Mexico and weaken. This cold front is now forecast to dissipate in the southern Gulf of Mexico later this week.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft or less.

Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph or less this morning; increasing to 15 mph to 20 mph this afternoon and evening. There is a slight chance of scattered showers. Seas will be moderate at 1 to 4 feet.
Cool, high pressure air continues to flow in from the north. The next cold front is moving off the Texas coast today. This cold front may push into the NW Caribbean by late Wednesday or Thursday.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
With wind chill, it will feel like the mid 60s F, especially when exiting the water.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft or less.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
