The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.

Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.

This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.

Today, skies will be partly sunny. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be ESE in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph this morning; increasing to 20 mph to 25 mph this afternoon and evening,from the ENE.

There is an increasing chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms as a tropical wave continues to move across Honduras and Nicaragua. The next tropical wave will reach here over the weekend.

The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 81°F to 82ºF or 26ºC to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook

There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic. There are two tropical waves (See Fig 8 above). Neither is showing signs of significant development. The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) is moderately strong and covers the Atlantic ocean between Africa and the Eastern Caribbean (See Fig 9 above).

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.
