Today,
skies
will be mostly sunny. Seas will be choppy to very rough at 2 to 4
feet or higher. Winds will be E in direction at 15 mph to 20 mph this
morning; increasing to 20 mph to 30 mph this afternoon and evening,
from the ENE. Expect these winds and sea states through at least
Wednesday. They will diminish slightly by the end of the week.
Divers
should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on
the afternoon dives.
The air temperatures will range from
the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean
water temperatures are 81°F
to 82ºF or 26ºC
to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic. There are three
tropical waves. None are showing signs of significant development.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) is moderately strong.
Tropical
cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.

METEOR
ALERT: Sky watchers in North America might see an
outburst of meteors during the early hours of June 11th when Earth
passes through a stream of cometary debris last seen in 1930.
Forecasters Peter Jenniskens (SETI Institute) and Esko Lyytinen
(Helsinki, Finland) predict the return of the gamma
Delphinid meteor shower this Tuesday morning around 08:30 UT
(04:30 am EDT or 2:30 am local time). The shower is expected to last
no more than about 30 minutes with an unknown number of bright, fast
meteors.
