Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.

Today, skies will be partly cloudy. Seas will be choppy to rough at 2 to 6 feet. Winds will be easterly in direction at 15 to 25 mph There is a chance of intermittent, scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats.

This morning, a stationary cold front extends from Tampa Bay, Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula. It is forecast to move SE and dissipate today.

Another cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday. It will extend from SE Louisiana to the western Bay of Campeche by Thursday evening where it will dissipate by Friday.

Winds and seas will increase in strength through Thursday.

The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 79 to 80ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
