Today, skies will be partly cloudy.
Seas in the lee of Roatan will be moderate at 1 to 4 feet or less.
Winds will be northerly in direction at 10 mph or less.
This morning, the stalled remnants of
the cold front will continue to gradually dissipate.
There is cloudiness, intermittent rain,
and cooler air associated with this relatively stationary frontal
boundary. The north winds will have a chilling effect, especially on
divers exiting the water.
A large mass of cold air will move into
the Gulf of Mexico later today. The next cold front will move into
the Gulf of Mexico on Friday. It will reach from northern Florida to
Brownsville, Texas by Saturday morning.
The air temperatures will range from
the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79 to 80ºF
or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet or less.
