Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas
will be choppy to calm at 2 to 4 feet or less. Winds will be light
and variable in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph.
This morning, a cold front across SE
Gulf of Mexico (See Fig 2) will cross Yucatan channel this afternoon and become
stationary across NW Caribbean from central Cuba to Belize by
Saturday then become diffuse on Sunday. There are strong to gale
force winds both ahead of and behind this front.
The air temperatures will range from
the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 78 to 79ºF
or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
