The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A front will lie from near Corpus Christi, Texas to Tampico, Mexico tonight...with gale force winds expected ahead of the front into Thu morning. The front will weaken as it stretches from Palacios, Texas to Mexico near 18N95W Thu night...then slowly drifts E...stretching from Pensacola Bay, FL to the N central Yucatan by Sat night and dissipates from the Florida Big Bend to 24N89W Sun night.
2. A tight pressure gradient between strong high pressure located N of area and lower pressure across the Gulf of Mexico will result in fresh to strong winds across much of the Caribbean Sea through Fri. The area of high pressure N of the area will weaken by Fri and shift W before building eastward again over the weekend behind a cold front expected to move through the central Atlantic.
