Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph. Seas will be calm to moderate at 1 ft to 4 ft. There is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms through Sunday.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to mid 80s ºF or 25°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 27ºC.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A weak front along 26N E of 90W will become diffuse this morning. A weak cold front will move into the northern Gulf of Mexico tonight...and quickly move E of the area by Fri night followed by high pres over the area Sat through Sun night. Moderate to occasional fresh southerly return flow will develop across the western Gulf of Mexico Sun night...and spread eastward to the eastern Gulf of Mexico by Mon night as strong high pressure builds S across the area and low pressure deepens over the plains.
2. Fresh to strong NE to E trades in the S central Caribbean will diminish to mostly fresh this afternoon...then pulse back to fresh to strong tonight and diminish to fresh Fri afternoon. These winds diminish to moderate Sat and continue into Mon. Strong high pressure will build S from eastern U.S. to over the NW Caribbean Mon increasing NE winds to lee of Cuba and through the Windward Passage.
2. Fresh to strong NE to E trades in the S central Caribbean will diminish to mostly fresh this afternoon...then pulse back to fresh to strong tonight and diminish to fresh Fri afternoon. These winds diminish to moderate Sat and continue into Mon. Strong high pressure will build S from eastern U.S. to over the NW Caribbean Mon increasing NE winds to lee of Cuba and through the Windward Passage.
