Today, skies will be partly sunny. This morning, winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph or higher; increasing to 15 mph to 30 mph or higher this afternoon and evening. Seas will be rough at 2 ft to 4 ft or higher. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives. Expect higher winds and seas starting Tuesday. There is a slight chance of rain today.
The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80s (ºF) or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 26ºC to 28ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. An area of low pressure located over the Yucatan Peninsula and an upper-level trough are producing a large area of showers and thunderstorms and winds to near gale force over portions of the northwestern Caribbean Sea and the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. Some development of this system is possible after it moves over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico later today and across the northwestern Gulf of Mexico through Tuesday. . An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is scheduled to investigate the low this afternoon, if necessary. 
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent
2. Synopsis...a tropical wave over the SW Caribbean will move W across Central America to night. A second tropical wave over the central Caribbean will move through the W Caribbean on Sun and Mon. A third tropical wave will pass 55W on Sun night...move through the E Caribbean on Mon reaching the central Caribbean on Tue and Wed...and the SW Caribbean on Thu. Otherwise...Atlantic high pressure will maintain fresh to strong trades across the central and NW Caribbean through the period.
3. The Saharan Air Layer (SAL) has increased slightly in density and area.
