How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
The low pressure system 92L is in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico about 120 miles west-northwest of Campeche, Mexico. It has a 40% chance for further development in the the next 48 hours.
A tropical wave along 71W will continue westward across the central Caribbean today becoming diffuse over the Western Caribbean on Sunday. Another tropical wave along 56W will enter the eastern Caribbean early on Sunday...and move across the eastern Caribbean Sunday and Monday...and across the central Caribbean Tuesday and Wednesday.
Early this morning, tropical storm Erin was centered at 18.9N by 35.6W. It is of no immediate danger to the Bay Islands and the north coast of Honduras but interests here should monitor this storm as it continues to track WNW across the Atlantic Ocean
The SAL has decreased slightly in size. Its density has increased slightly near the African coast. See Figs. 9 and 9a at http://roatanweather.blogspot.com/
