Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.

Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas will be calm to moderate at 1 to4 feet. This morning, winds will be light, variable and southerly in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph or less. They will become more easterly this afternoon and evening at 10 mph to 15 mph.

A cold front in the Gulf of Mexico extends from Louisiana to Texas this morning. Later today it will reach from the Florida Panhandle to Veracruz, Mexico. By late Monday, it will reach from the Straits of Florida to the central Bay of Campeche, Mexico.

This cold front will sink slowly S across Yucatan Channel Tuesday. Then stall from E Cuba to Belize late Wednesday.

The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the high 80s (ºF) or 25ºC to 31ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 77 to 79ºF or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
