Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.

This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.

Today, skies will be partly cloudy. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. This morning, winds will be ESE in direction at 10 to 15 mph or less. They will become easterly this afternoon and evening.

This morning, a cold front extends from the western Florida Panhandle to near Corpus Christi, Texas. It will stall from Tampa Bay, Florida to Brownsville, Texas this evening...then merge with a reinforcing front Wednesday morning. The new front will extend from SW Florida to Tampico, Mexico Wednesday evening...moving SE of the Gulf of Mexico late Wednesday night into Thursday. The tail end of this cold front will clip the NW Caribbean Wednesday night into Thursday.

Fresh SE winds in the Gulf of Honduras will diminish through the day...increasing again Friday night and Saturday.

Another cold front may reach the Gulf of Mexico by the end of the week.

The air temperatures will range from the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 77 to 79ºF or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
