Today, skies will be mostly cloudy.
Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be easterly in
direction at 15 to 20 mph or higher, especially late tonight. Divers
should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats and on night
dives.
Expect these wind and sea conditions to prevail through Wednesday.
This morning, a diffused, nearly
stationary, cold front extends from the Bay Islands of Honduras out
into the Atlantic Ocean. It is drifting slowly SE. There is an
increased chance of rain as this front passes over us. Another cold
front will move into the far western Gulf of Mexico by tonight. This
front will then reach from the Florida Panhandle to the western Bay
of Campeche, Mexico by Tuesday. A weak low may form along the frontal
boundary in the western Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday and track NE.
The air temperatures will range from
the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79 to 80ºF
or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
