Today, skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level cloudiness. During the day, winds will be strong, from the E to SE at 15 mph to 20 mph. The seas will be rough at 3 to 6 feet or higher. This afternoon and evening, winds will increase in strength to 25mph to 30 mph. Expect these wind and sea strengths through the rest of this week. There is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers this afternoon. A tropical wave is centered just to the W of us over Belize. Another tropical wave will enter the Western Caribbean Sea on Tuesday. A third tropical wave will enter this area on Thursday or Friday.
Tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.
The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 84F or 28C to 29C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.
