Today, skies will again be sunny with some mid to high level cloudiness. Winds will be from the SE to E at 10 to 15 mph or less during much of today. Increasing to 15 to 20 mph or higher later this afternoon and evening. The seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
Expect this weather pattern to continue through most of this week and next. Wind direction and strength is diurnal. It generally rises and falls in conjunction with moon rise and setting, as well as the moon phase.
The cold front moving off the Texas coast later today will dissipate tomorrow. A second cold front will move into the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday and reach the Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Thursday.

The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (F) to the mid to high 80s or 26 to 29 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 80F or 26C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.
