Today, skies will be partly sunny.
Winds will be ESE in direction at 10 mph to 12 mph during the day;
increasing to 15 mph from the ENE this afternoon and evening. Seas
will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
Expect these moderate winds and seas to
continue through next Tuesday. This morning, a strong cold front in
the Gulf of Mexico, extends from central Louisiana to Veracruz,
Mexico. It will move slowly SE and reach the Yucatan and central Cuba
by Thursday. There are strong northerly winds behind this front. It
will enter the NW Caribbean on Friday and stall around 20N; then
become diffuse and dissipate through Saturday. For more details, see

The air temperatures will range from
the low to mid 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to
26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to
82°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 17 and 18 below.
