Again today, skies will be mostly sunny. At times, there maybe a smoky haze in the atmosphere caused by the combination of smoke, from the slash and burn agricultural practices used in Central America, and airborne salt particles. Seas will be choppy to rough at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be ESE in direction at 15 mph to 20 mph during the day; increasing to 20 mph to 25 mph from the E this afternoon and evening.

Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.

A cold front has moved off the coast of Texas. Fresh to strong northerly winds are expected behind the front. This front will weaken and stall from SW Florida to the S central Gulf of Mexico before dissipating Sunday. Winds and seas will moderate beginning tomorrow.

The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the high 80s (ºF) or 25ºC to 31ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 79to 81ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
