How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
    1. A stationary front extends from Fort Myers, Florida SW to S Texas. The stationary portion will become diffuse by this evening...while the warm front part lifts NE across the NW Gulf of Mexico through Sat morning as the low pressure tracks NE. The low will reach the coast of SW Louisiana early Fri night dragging a cold front across the western Gulf of Mexico. It will reach from Apalachee Bay to near 26N89W where it is forecast to become a dissipating stationary front reaching to the eastern Bay of Campeche by Sun...and to a position slightly E from there on Mon. Weak high pres will build eastward across the Gulf behind the front.
    2. A dissipating cold front extends from Guadeloupe to 16N59W to 17N81W.
