Today,
skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Seas will
be calm to choppy at 1 to 3 feet. Winds will be light and mostly
westerly in direction at 5 to 10 mph or less. Winds and seas will
continue to be calm to moderate through the weekend and the first
part of next week.
There
is a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms today. A
surface trough still extends across the W Caribbean from the Yucatan
into the Gulf of Mexico. This system continues to move slowly
northward.

to the low 90s (ºF)
or 26ºC
to 32ºC.
Ocean
water temperatures are 81 to 82ºF
or 25 to 26ºC.
Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
The
Tropical Weather Outlook
The
area of disturbed weather associated with the surface trough in the W
Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico is now given a 70% chance for further
development. It has been designated Invest 96at. It may strengthen
into a tropical depression in the next day or two. It poses no threat
to the Bay Islands and north coast of Honduras.
