Skies will be sunny with high level cloudiness. Scattered showers are possible. The cold front has passed over us. The strong north winds remain behind the front. They will gradually diminish over the weekend. Normal easterly airflow will resume by Wednesday.

Today winds will be NW to N at 15 to 20 mph and stronger. Waves will be 1 to 4 feet in height or higher.

Tomas has weakened to a tropical storm and is passing over the Turks and Caicos islands.

The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 81F to 84F or 26C to 28C.
