Skies will be partly sunny with some mid to high level cloudiness. Winds continue to be strong and easterly at 20 to 25 mph. They will increase to 25 to 30 mph, this afternoon and evening. The seas are still rough at 3 to 6 feet. There is a chance of scattered, intermittent rain associated with a tropical wave which is now moving across the NW Caribbean. A second tropical wave is forecast to reach here by Tuesday. Strong east winds will persist through Saturday. Trade winds will begin to decrease in strength on Sunday. Else where tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.

Essentially, today's weather is a repeat of yesterday's. Skies will be sunny with some mid to high level cloudiness. Winds continue to be strong and easterly at 20 to 25 mph. They will increase to 25 to 30 mph this afternoon and evening. The seas are rough at 3 to 6 feet or higher. A tropical wave will enter the NW Caribbean on Friday. Strong east winds will persist through Saturday. Trade winds will begin to decrease in strength on Sunday. Else where tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.
TS Arlene has gone ashore in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. It is not a threat to the Bay Islands.
The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 84F or 28C to 29C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.

Skies will be sunny with some mid to high level cloudiness. Again, today, winds will be strong from the E to SE at 20 to 25 mph. They will increase to 25 to 30 mph this afternoon and evening. The seas continue to be rough at 3 to 6 feet or higher. A tropical wave will enter the NW Caribbean on Friday. Strong east winds will persist through Saturday. There is a very small chance of early morning, late evening rain showers.
Else where TS Arlene has formed in the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. It is not a threat to the Bay Islands. (See Figs. 6 and 7)
The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C).

The Tropical Weather Outlook
There are two tropical waves approaching the Western Caribbean Sea. The first will enter sometime tomorrow. The second on Saturday.
There is a 50% chance that the tropical wave which just passed over us and is in the Bay of Campeche will become a tropical storm in the next 24 hours. This system poses no threat to the Bay Islands or North Coast of Honduras. Else where tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.

They will increase to 25 to 30 mph or higher this afternoon and evening. The seas will be rough at 3 to 6 feet or higher. There is a very slight possibility of late night or early morning rain showers. Expect these weather conditions to prevail through this Saturday
