Saturday Nov. 13, 2010

Skies will be partly sunny with high level cloudiness. Showers and squalls may be intermittent. Today winds will be N to NE at 10 to 15 mph. Waves will be 1 to 4 feet in height. A weak cold front is moving off the Texas coast and will stall on Monday. It will be reinforced by more cold air and another cold front on Tuesday. The cold front will extend from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche on Tuesday and dissipate.

A broad area of low pressure over the SW Caribbean will move slowly NNW to the NW Caribbean
by late Wednesday, possibly as Tropical Storm Virginie. There is a 40% chance of this system
developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours. Conditions are favorable for further
development. A Hurricane Hunter aircraft is scheduled to investigate 94L on Monday.
At 6am LT, this 1009 mb low was centered at 11N by 77W or about 735 mile SE of us. It presently
is moving NW at 5mph. Computer models show it coming ashore in Nicaragua or NE Honduras.
Basically, 94L is following the general path of the previous seven tropical systems we have
experienced this year. We can expected 94L to continue W to NNW because of the cold fronts
from the north.

All interests in the Bay Islands and North Coast of Honduras should monitor the progress of this storm.

The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 81F to 82F or 26C to 27C.
