Skies will be mostly sunny today. Winds will be moderate to strong and easterly in direction at 15 mph to 35 mph. Seas will be  moderate to rough at 2 ft. to 4 ft. or higher. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives. The air temperatures will range from the mid 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A thermal trough will enhance winds along the NW Yucatan Peninsula tonight. A ridge dissecting the Gulf waters from the Florida Big Bend to NE Mexico will retract E on Wed allowing a cold front to enter the NW Gulf. The cold front will reach from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico early Thu and pass through the Straits of Florida late Thu night. Southerly return flow will set up across the entire Gulf late in the upcoming weekend.
3. Caribbean Sea - Nocturnal gale winds expected within 90 NM of the coast of NW coast of Colombia. Otherwise strong Atlantic high pressure will maintain fresh to strong trades to the E of 80W through Sun night...and across the waters W of 80W behind a cold front this weekend.
3a. Broad middle level-to-upper level anticyclonic wind flow covers the Caribbean Sea. An upper level trough starts near 12N61W, and it continues to 11N64W, and 10N69W and 10N75W. Comparatively drier air in subsidence is apparent in water vapor imagery elsewhere across the area. Rainshowers are possible elsewhere across the Caribbean Sea, primarily from 76W eastward. The 24-hour rainfall amounts, for the period ending at 01/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are: 0.24 in Guadeloupe.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through Wed. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each evening before pushing offshore into the SW Gulf each night. A cold front will cross the NW Gulf by Wed night...reaching from S Florida to the E Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Thu night. Strong northerly winds will follow this front with the potential for a gale to develop over the southwest Gulf on Thu.
3. Caribbean Sea - High pressure building N of area will result in increasing winds and building seas across the entire region by tonight. Strong nocturnal flow is expected within about 90 NM off the coast of Colombia...with winds reaching minimal gale force during the overnight and early morning hours through Sat night.
3a. Broad middle level-to-upper level anticyclonic wind flow covers the Caribbean Sea from 14N northward. Middle level to upper level NW wind flow covers the area from 14N southward from 75W eastward. Middle level to upper level cyclonic wind flow covers the SW corner of the area, from 06N to 13N between 79W in the Caribbean Sea to 88W in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Comparatively drier air in subsidence is apparent in water vapor imagery elsewhere across the area. Rainshowers are possible elsewhere across the Caribbean Sea, from 14N southward from 66W eastward, and elsewhere from 82W eastward. The 24-hour rainfall amounts, for the period ending at 28/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are: 0.19 in Guadeloupe.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - High pressure will pass north of the Gulf today and become centered over the mid-Atlantic waters Mon...with E-SE winds expanding east overnight...then persisting across the Gulf through mid week. The next cold front will cross the NW Gulf late Wed...reaching from central Florida to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Thu. Strong northerly winds will follow this front with the potential for a gale to develop over southwest waters on Thu.
3. Caribbean Sea - Trade winds will begin to increase across Caribbean overnight as high pressure builds N of the area. Strong to near gale force wind is near the coast of Colombia...forecast to reach minimal gale force during the overnight hours each night this week beginning Mon. Fresh to strong winds in the south-central Caribbean will extend to S of Hispaniola Mon night continuing through the end of the period and across the E Caribbean Wed through Fri. Fresh to strong winds will develop in the Windward Passage Mon night through Wed night. Otherwise...large trade wind swell will affect the tropical Atlantic waters Mon through Fri.
3a. Upper-level ridging prevails over the Caribbean basin as water vapor indicates mostly dry air within an overall subsident environment. A surface trough was analyzed across the northwest Caribbean from 20N83W to 17N85W. Isolated low-topped showers are within 120 nm either side of the boundary and forecast to drift westward toward the Yucatan peninsula today. Farther east, quick moving isolated showers are possible through the overnight hours mainly east of 71W. Aside from the Special Features near-gale to gale-force winds expected off the coast of Colombia each night, moderate to fresh trades will persist today and gradually increase to fresh to strong breeze levels by Tuesday as high pressure anchors itself to the north across the southwest Atlantic. The strengthened pressure gradient across the basin will remain in place through the week.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front extending from north Florida to the central Gulf near 25N90W will lift N as a warm front through Mon ahead of a low pressure system tracking across Texas and Louisiana Tue and Wed. The next cold front will enter the Gulf region late Wednesday, reaching from central Florida to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Thursday. Strong northerly winds will follow this front with the potential for a gale to develop over the southwest Gulf on thursday.
3. Caribbean Sea - Trade winds will begin to increase across the basin tonight as high pressure builds N of the area. Strong nocturnal flow is forecast to developed near the coast of Colombia...with winds reaching minimal gale force during the overnight and early morning hours Mon through Thu.
3a. A sharp mid-to-upper level trough passes through the Windward Passage and into the southwest corner of the basin. At the surface, a trough was analyzed from 20N82W to 17N86W with isolated showers. Another trough extends across the western half of Hispaniola from 21N73W to 18N72W with isolated convection. Very strong subsidence was noted in the wake of the trough and elsewhere over the basin east of 80W. A weak surface ridge extended from 20N60W through the northern Leeward Islands to 15N75W. This ridge maintained sub-normal trade winds over the basin, generally around 10 kt. The trade winds should begin to increase today as high pressure builds north of the area, with strong winds likely within 90 nm of the coast of Colombia on Sunday night into Monday. Gale-force winds are expected to develop across the south-central Caribbean.

2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front extending from central Louisiana to near Brownsville, Texas will move across the northern Gulf waters through tonight. The boundary should lift northward as a warm front Sun ahead of a low pressure system tracking across Texas and Louisiana Mon and Tue. The next cold front will enter the Gulf region on Wed followed by strong winds. Gale conditions are possible over the SW Gulf on Thu.
3. Caribbean Sea - Trade winds will begin to increase across the basin tonight as high pressure builds N of area. Strong nocturnal flow will develop near the coast of Colombia tonight...with gale force winds possible during the overnight and early morning hours Mon through Wed. 3a. A broad area of high pressure extends across the central and eastern Atlantic reaching the Caribbean waters. Winds are generally light and variable across most of the basin with wave heights around 2 to 3 FT. Moderate easterly winds are depicted in scatterometer data south of 13N between 72W-78W. As high pressure builds to the north of the area by late in the weekend, moderate to fresh trade winds are expected to resume. Strongest winds are expected once again within 90 NM of the coast of Colombia by late Sunday.

1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - High pressure will build over the eastern Gulf today as a strong low pressure system over the SW N Atlantic moves farther E. A cold front reaching the Texas coast today will move across the northern Gulf through Sat night then lift northward as a  warm front Sun ahead of a low pressure system tracking across Texas and Louisiana and well N of the area Mon and Tue.
3. Caribbean Sea - A cold front from E Cuba to 17N81W will move E and weaken today. Strong nocturnal flow will develop near the NW coast of Colombia sat...with gale force winds possible Sun night through Tue night.
3a. Broad middle to upper level troughing is noted on water vapor over the Caribbean this morning supporting a cold front extending across eastern Cuba from 20N75W SW to 17N80W. A pre-frontal surface trough also extends from across western Hispaniola near 20N72W to 16N76W. Isolated showers are occurring within 120 NM E of the surface trough boundary. Isolated showers are also occurring N of 18N in association with the cold front and southwestern periphery of the Special Features low pressure system centered across the SW North Atlantic region. With the frontal system across the north-central portion of the basin...the usual trade wind flow is disrupted at this time keeping winds generally light to moderate. Within mostly E-SE winds E of the surface trough boundary...isolated showers are occurring across the Leeward Islands and Puerto Rico mainly NE of a line from 14N61W to the Mona Passage near 18N67W. The cold front is expected to drift eastward and move N of the region by late Friday night with a more normal trade wind synoptic pattern expected across the basin by Saturday.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - High pressure will build over the eastern Gulf as a low pressure system over Florida moves away from the area. A cold front reaching the Texas coast Fri will move across the northern Gulf through Sat night then lift northward as a warm front Sun ahead of a low pressure system tracking across Texas and Louisiana.
3. Caribbean Sea - A cold front trailing south from a low pressure system over Florida will move E and weaken through Fri. Strong nocturnal flow will develop near the NW coast of Colombia Sat...with minimal gale force winds possible Sun night and Mon night.
3a. Most of the Caribbean remains under the influence of dry and relatively stable west-northwesterly flow aloft. A mid-level low and associated energy remains across the Florida peninsula and Florida Straits this morning supporting a cold front extending across central Cuba and into the NW Caribbean waters from 22N79W to 19N81W to 18N85W. A pre-frontal surface trough is also analyzed from central Cuba near the cold front to offshore of NE Nicaragua near 14N82W. Isolated showers and possible isolated tstms are noted within 180 nm E of the surface trough while isolated showers are possible N of 17N E of 86W in association with the cold front. Moderate to fresh W-NW winds are occurring in wake of the front which are expected to weaken gradually through Thursday as the front progresses eastward as dissipates across the north-central waters Thursday night into Friday. Farther east...a stationary front remains analyzed across the Leeward Islands to the adjacent southern coastal waters of Puerto Rico with isolated showers occurring N of 16N E of 68W. The remainder of the basin is under mostly fair skies and relatively tranquil conditions as the overall trade wind flow is disrupted with the presence of the frontal systems impacting the basin. A more normal trade wind synoptic pattern is expected by Saturday night into Sunday.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A low pressure system with active convection ahead of the cold front will move east-southeast across the Florida Peninsula tonight. Strong southerly winds will develop east of the front later today, and fresh to strong northwest winds behind the front will move into the Yucatan Channel this afternoon. A second cold front will reach the Texas coast Friday and become stationary across the southern Gulf along 22-23N by Sat night.
3. Caribbean Sea - S winds will shift NW and increase today in the NW Caribbean behind a cold front moving into the Yucatan Channel. The front will stall and gradually dissipate Thursday through Friday. Light to gentle winds will prevail across most of the remainder of the area through Friday.
3a. Overall the Caribbean basin remains under fairly tranquil conditions this morning with the exception of the eastern and far northwestern waters. A cold front lies to the N of Puerto Rico from 23N60W to 22N63W. A surface trough also extends from the cold front near 23N57W to 20N58W to 12N62W and provides focus for isolated showers across the Windward Islands. Mostly northerly winds prevail across the eastern Caribbean and Atlantic moisture and cloudiness with embedded isolated showers are occurring N of 13 E of 70W. Across the NW Caribbean...a cold front is analyzed across the eastern Gulf of Mexico to the western region of the Yucatan Channel. Isolated showers and tstms are occurring NW of a line from western Cuba near 22N81W to the Gulf of Honduras near 16N88W. The front will introduce fresh to occasional strong W-NW winds through Wednesday night into early Thursday. Otherwise...dry and stable air aloft on NW flow coupled with gentle to moderate northerly winds are prevailing and expected to persist through Wednesday.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - Low pressure and an associated cold front will move into the NW Gulf tonight...and across the Gulf from west to east through Thu accompanied by strong winds...building seas and scattered showers and tstms. Winds and seas will diminish starting mid week as high pressure builds over the Gulf in the wake of the low pressure and front. Strong northerly winds will follow another cold front moving into the northern Gulf by Sat.
3. Caribbean Sea - Fresh to occasionally strong winds will accompany a cold front moving across the NW Caribbean Tue through late Thu. Winds and seas diminish starting mid week in the wake of the front.
3a. Overall the Caribbean basin remains under fairly tranquil conditions this evening with the exception of the northeastern waters. An area of low pressure well N of Puerto Rico extends a cold front along 65W to 22N then SW to the northern coast of Hispaniola near 20N70W. Low-level moisture convergence within southerly winds is generating widely scattered showers and isolated tstms N of 13N between 59W-69W...including portions of the Lesser Antilles...Puerto Rico...and the Mona Passage region. Otherwise...dry and stable air aloft coupled with gentle to moderate E-NE winds are prevailing and expected to persist through Tuesday night. By Wednesday...a cold front is expected to move across the central Gulf of Mexico and reach the Yucatan Channel region and NW Caribbean waters introducing another round of fresh to occasional strong W-NW winds.

Skies will be mostly sunny and clear today. Winds will be easterly in direction at 15 mph to 35 mph. Seas will be  rough at 2 ft. to 4 ft. or higher.  Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives. The air temperatures will range from the mid 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A broad surface trough will move into the NW Gulf later today. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will accompany the trough across the NW and N central Gulf through Tue. The trough will move into the central Gulf through Tue night with a weak low pressure forming along the trough. Near gale conditions are expected late tonight off the coast of Veracruz, Mexico.
3. Caribbean Sea - High pressure NE of the area will support near gale conditions off Colombia tonight and fresh to strong winds in the Gulf of Honduras. Gentle to moderate winds will persist elsewhere through mid week.
3a. Broad middle level-to-upper level anticyclonic wind flow spans the entire Caribbean Sea. High level clouds are moving from the Yucatan Peninsula, across the Greater Antilles, and into the Caribbean Sea from 14N northward from 74W eastward. Comparatively drier air in subsidence is apparent in water vapor imagery elsewhere across the area. Rain showers are possible elsewhere across the Caribbean Sea, from 70W eastward, and between 70W and 84W, in areas of broken low level clouds. The 24-hour rainfall amounts, for the period ending at 20/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are: 0.01 in Guadeloupe.
