The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80sºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 87°F or 29ºC to 31ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A stationary front will lift northward over the NE Gulf of Mexico as a warm front today. Fresh to strong return flow over the NW Gulf of Mexico with frequent gusts to gale force will diminish through the morning. A cold front will enter the NW Gulf of Mexico during the afternoon...stalling and dissipating over the E Gulf of Mexico Mon and Mon night.
2. Strong trades will will pulse in the Gulf of Honduras early this morning and again tonight. Otherwise mainly moderate trades will prevail through the forecast period.
4. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.

5. The SAL has increased slightly in area and density.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Showers and thunderstorms remain disorganized in association with an area of low pressure located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. Strong upper-level winds should limit the development of this system while it moves westward near 15 mph over the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent
2. A trough will dissipate in the SE Gulf of Mexico later today. A cold front extending from near Tallahassee, Florida to 28N90W will move E of the area by late tonight. A new cold front will enter the NW Gulf of Mexico late Sat morning slowly shifting E through Sun. The front will stall from the NE Gulf of Mexico to the central Gulf of Mexico by Mon morning...gradually dissipating through Mon night. The remnants of the front will drift back to the W through Tue.
3. Gentle to moderate trades will prevail across the Caribbean through Tue night...except pulsing to fresh in the Gulf of Honduras each night tonight and again on Sat night.
4. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.


5. The SAL has changed slightly in area and density.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A cold front has entered the NW Gulf of Mexico and extends from SE Louisiana to the Texas coastal bend. This front will stall over the NW Gulf of Mexico and move back inland by this evening. The next cold front entering the NW Gulf of Mexico on Sat. This front will reach from SE Louisiana to the W Bay of Campeche on Sun...and from the Florida Panhandle to the E Bay of Campeche on Mon.
2. Gentle to moderate trades will prevail across the Caribbean through Mon night.
3. An area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave is located several hundred miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, and is producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. Upper-level winds are forecast to become highly unfavorable for development while the system moves westward near 15 mph over the next few days.

1. A cold front extending from the Florida Big Bend S to the Yucatan Peninsula will move across Florida and the SE Gulf of Mexico today, where it will become stationary and gradually dissipate by Thu evening. The next cold front will reach the NW Gulf of Mexico Wed night extending from SW Louisiana to near Brownsville, Texas. Sat., a second cold front is forecast to reach from near Mobile, Alabama to Tampico, Mexico by late Sun.
2. Gentle to moderate trade winds will prevail across most of the Caribbeanbasin through Sun night. Additional pulses of long period NE swell should reach the tropical N Atlantic waters Thu night into Fri...building seas to around 7 ft Fri through Sat night.
3.0 There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.


4.0. The SAL has decreased slightly in area and in density.

1.0 Synopsis...A cold front extending from the W Florida Panhandle to 25N87W to the NE Yucatan Peninsula will reach from the Florida Big Bend to the Yucatan Channel Tue evening and move across the SE Gulf of Mexico by Wed evening where it will become stationary and gradually dissipate by Thu evening. A relatively weak high pressure will settle in over the W central Gulf of Mexico behind the front and move NE toward the NE Gulf of Mexico by Thu night. Southerly return flow will set up across the NW Gulf of Mexico Fri through Sat ahead of the next cold front forecast to reach the NW Gulf of Mexico by Sat night.
2.0 Gentle to moderate trade winds will prevail across most of the Caribbean basin through Sat.
3.0 There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.

4.0. The SAL has decreased slightly in area and increased in density.

Synopsis...A 1000 mb low pressure system over the NW Gulf of Mexico near 29N93W extends a cold front S from 30N92W to 24N91W to coast of Mexico near 18N93W. The low will lift NE to inland over SW Louisiana late tonight. The low will drift E over S LK Mon night before lifting N Tue  and weakening to the NW Yucatan Peninsula Mon night. The front will weaken to a frontal trough as it moves into the E Gulf of Mexico on Wed and to just SE of the Gulf of Mexico by late Thu as weak high pressure settles in over the NW Gulf of Mexico .
Gentle to moderate trade winds will prevail across most of the Caribbean basin through Fri. NE to E swell will continue to affect the waters E of the Lesser Antilles through Tue night. Additional pulses of long period NE swell should reach the tropical N Atlantic waters by Thu night.
