Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be ESE in direction at 5 mph to 12 mph during the day; becoming ENE this afternoon and evening at 15 mph to 20 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
A weakening cold front will move into the NW Caribbean today and dissipate from the Windward Passage to Jamaica on Monday. Expect increasing cloudiness and intermittent rain with the passage of this front.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.

Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be ESE in direction at 15 mph to 20 mph during the day; becoming ENE this afternoon and evening at 20 mph to 25 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
A cold front is moving into the NW Gulf of Mexico waters today. The front will reach from the Florida Big Bend to the Yucatan Peninsula late Saturday...and pass SE of the area.
This cold front will move into the NW Caribbean on Sunday and dissipate from the Windward Passage to NE Honduras on Monday. Expect winds and seas to decrease in strength over the weekend.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
